Well lets get the Lot Sales So far this year.??

There have only been a few sales so far that I am aware of during the first quarter of 2009 in Compass Lake.  Most of the records at the Jackson County Florida Property Appraiser website shows Quit Claim Deeds / Property Transfers that have either been transfers between Relatives and bank Foreclosures.

January 2009:  $ 12,000.00 ( Investor Flip )

As you can see the start of 2009 has been slow so far and we expect sales to continue to be slow for the rest of 2009.  There are some great deals for buyers if you have cash to close but if you don’t have cash then you are pretty much out of luck since banks are no longer offering financing on vacant lots that are for investments purposes.  This is one reason why lot sales in Compass lake in the Hills and the rest of Florida have been slow because of lack of available money to lend by banks.
